Four Children Killed in Stabbing Attack at Kampala Nursery School
Four children were killed in a stabbing attack at the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Program school in Kampala, Uganda, authorities said. The suspect, a man disguised as a parent, gained access to the school, engaged briefly with the administrator, then locked the gate and attacked children one by one.
The attacker was stopped by a security guard from a nearby church and has been taken into police custody. The motive for the attack remains under investigation.
Police confirmed the incident is rare in Kampala, a city of about three million people, and reassured residents that the situation is under control.
