Vice President Kashim Shettima officially flagged off the programme, which will be spearheaded by the Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI). The launch included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with six leading professional bodies set to partner with the government on the initiative.
The collaborating organizations include the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA), Chartered Risk Management Institute (CRMI), and Nigeria Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NIIE).
The programme seeks to break down barriers to financial participation through education and empowerment, promoting the responsible and productive use of financial tools to drive long-term economic progress for millions of Nigerians.
