Federal Government to Launch Buy Nigeria Goods Campaign, Targets N3trn Boost
The Federal Government has announced plans to roll out a nationwide “Buy Nigeria Goods” campaign in the coming months, with a short-term target of generating about N3 trillion for the economy. Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Senator John Owan Enoh, disclosed this at a pre-summit briefing for the West Africa Industrialisation, Manufacturing & Trade Summit in Lagos. He said the initiative, which follows President Bola Tinubu’s Nigeria First policy, is aimed at reducing import dependence, boosting local production, and driving economic patriotism through policy consistency and private sector partnership.
