Davido Confirms Wedding Date with Chioma Rowland
Nigerian music sensation Davido, born David Adeleke, has officially confirmed his upcoming wedding with his long-time partner, Chioma Rowland.
Reports circulating on Tuesday reveal that Davido and Chioma’s traditional wedding is set to take place in Lagos on June 25, 2024.
The confirmation came through a video shared on Instagram by Davido’s close associate, UK-based Nigerian Pastor Tobi Adeboyega. In the video, an elated Davido extends an invitation to his friends, urging them to join in the festivities.
“Guys, you have to come to Nigeria on the 25th [of June] for my wedding,” Davido exclaimed in the video.
The news of their impending nuptials follows the couple’s journey through both joy and sorrow. Last year, they welcomed twins, marking a moment of immense happiness after the tragic loss of their first child, Ifeanyi, in 2022.
Davido and Chioma’s engagement shortly after the loss was a testament to their enduring love and commitment to each other.
