Chief Imam’s Ram Mysteriously Disappears Before Ed-el-kabir in Plateau
In Mista Ali community, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State,the sacrificial ram belonging to the Chief Imam, Imam Abdulkadir, disappeared under mysterious circumstances just before the Ed-el-kabir celebrations.
According to reports, the theft occurred during a heavy downpour on Saturday night.
Malam Haruna Yaqub, another Imam in the community, expressed deep dismay over the incident during his sermon following the Eid prayers. He condemned the act as unfortunate and wicked, attributing it to criminal behavior.
“The ram purchased by our Chief Imam for sacrifice was stolen overnight. We are truly shocked and perplexed by this incident. It is disheartening to learn that people would commit such acts, especially against items meant for religious purposes,” Yaqub lamented.
He urged the community to uphold godliness and refrain from engaging in theft or any form of criminal activity, emphasizing the accountability of actions both in this life and the hereafter.te and wicked, attributing it to criminal behavior
