Bus Crashes Into Building in Seoul, 13 Injured
A bus crashed into a building in South Korea’s capital, Seoul, on Friday, injuring 13 people, two of whom are in serious condition, according to Yonhap News Agency.
Footage aired by local broadcaster YTN showed a full-size passenger bus stationary with its front end smashed into what appeared to be the glass façade of a large building. The bus was seen partly on a wide pedestrian sidewalk, suggesting it veered off the road before the crash.
Those injured include the bus driver and two pedestrians. Yonhap, citing the fire agency, reported that a woman in her 50s suffered a leg fracture, while a man in his 30s sustained a head injury.
Emergency services responded to the scene, and the injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
