Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has relieved the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, of his duties with immediate effect.
The decision was announced on Monday in a statement issued by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado. According to the statement, the move is part of an ongoing cabinet reshuffle aimed at injecting fresh ideas into governance, strengthening the administration, and repositioning the government for improved service delivery across the state.
Governor Mohammed commended Galadima for his contributions while in office and wished him success in his future endeavours. He also reassured residents of Bauchi State of his administration’s continued commitment to peace, security, and good governance.
The statement further indicated that a replacement for the sacked commissioner would be announced in due course.
