Arsenal Thrash Manchester City 3-0 to Win Community Shield
Arsenal have started the 2026/2027 season with silverware after thrashing Manchester City 3-0 to win the Community Shield at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, South Wales. Riccardo Calafiori opened the scoring early after being set up by Myles Lewis-Skelly, before a mistake by Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma gifted Arsenal a second goal from Kai Havertz’s header. Martin Odegaard completed the victory with a third goal after dribbling into the area. Arsenal will begin the defence of their Premier League title against Coventry City on Friday, while Manchester City will face Bournemouth.
