March 19, 2026

The Nigerian Army’s 1st Division Headquarters has announced its first bi-annual range classification exercise for 2026, scheduled from March 23 to March 27 at the Nigerian Air Force Base Shooting Range in Mando, Kaduna State.

The exercise aims to enhance soldiers’ marksmanship and check the condition of weapons. Residents in and around the NAF Base and Mando have been advised not to be alarmed by gunfire or troop movements during the period. The public is also urged to avoid the range for safety, with the Army thanking communities for their cooperation and understanding.
