Anti-corruption: ‘APC members not enjoying protection’ – Yilwatda
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda, has declared that no member of the ruling party is shielded from prosecution, insisting that those facing trial must retain their fundamental human rights until convicted by a court of law. Yilwatda acknowledged that some APC members were undergoing prosecution but maintained that they must be presumed innocent until proven guilty. He said the party would not deny members their legal rights simply because they were facing criminal charges.
