While performing, Adele noticed a fan holding a sign that read, “Will you marry me?” The singer responded to the sign with a heartfelt message, “I can’t marry you because I’m already engaged, so I can’t, but thank you for your kind words.” She then revealed what appeared to be an engagement ring, prompting a cheer from the audience.
Although Adele did not explicitly name her fiancé during the announcement, it is widely speculated that she is referring to Rich Paul. The couple has been together since 2021.
