William Troost-Ekong Urges Super Eagles to Build Momentum in World Cup Qualifiers
Super Eagles Defender, William Troost-Ekong has emphasized that the Super Eagles will only be truly validated if they qualify for the World Cup and win the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Despite their talent and strong club performances, the team narrowly missed the 2022 World Cup and fell short in the AFCON final against Côte d’Ivoire. Currently fourth in their qualifying group, they secured their first win against Rwanda and aim to build momentum against Zimbabwe as he remains confident that the team can correct past mistakes and improve their qualification chances.
