Vice President Shettima Arrives in Sweden to Strengthen Trade Relations
Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Sweden for a two-day working visit focused on enhancing trade and bilateral relations between Nigeria and Sweden.
Accompanying him on this visit are Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, and several heads of government agencies.
During his stay, Vice President Shettima is set to engage in high-level discussions with key officials in the Swedish government as his agenda includes meetings with prominent figures such as Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and the Swedish Prime Minister.
Furthermore, the Vice President will focus on several key areas for collaboration, including information and communication technology (ICT), digitization, education, sustainable transport, agriculture, and mining. These sectors have been identified as vital for mutual growth and development, and discussions will aim to explore potential partnerships and investments.
This visit underscores Nigeria’s commitment to fostering stronger economic ties with Sweden and leveraging shared expertise in various sectors. By enhancing bilateral relations, both countries aim to create opportunities that will benefit their respective economies and populations.
