Tinubu Commissions Rebuilt Northwest Digital Park in Kano
President Bola Tinubu has commissioned the Northwest Digital Industrial Park in Kano, a major tech hub previously vandalised during the 2024 End-Bad-Governance protest. Represented by Minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijjani, Tinubu reaffirmed the project’s importance under his Renewed Hope Agenda, highlighting its potential to uplift over 180,000 Kano youths through global digital opportunities. Despite the earlier destruction, the federal government pushed ahead with the project, aiming to train three million Nigerians in tech skills. Kano State also pledged to train 300,000 youths by 2027, as officials urged communities to protect and utilise the facility for future prosperity.
