Super Falcons Retain 36th Spot in Latest FIFA Rankings

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have maintained their 36th position in the latest FIFA women’s world ranking, remaining the top-ranked team in Africa. The nine-time African champions have held this position since March 2024, retaining it in subsequent rankings throughout the year. Their last match was a friendly against France in November 2024, where they suffered a 2-1 defeat. Other top-ranked African teams include South Africa, Morocco, Zambia, and Ghana. On the global stage, the United States leads the rankings, followed by Spain, Germany, England, and Japan.
