March 11, 2025

Nigeria’s Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has expressed his joy after returning to action following nearly three months out due to a wrist injury sustained in December against Genoa. He made his comeback in a 1-1 draw against Lazio, highlighting the support he received from his teammates, particularly fellow goalkeeper Padelli. Okoye acknowledged the team’s progress during his absence and expressed his determination to keep pushing forward. So far this season, he has made 15 league appearances under coach Kosta Runjaic.
