March 19, 2025

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, has reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment, emphasizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s dedication to implementing policies that will unlock Nigeria’s private sector potential and drive sustainable economic growth. During a meeting in Abuja with Aliko Dangote, chairman of the Dangote Group, Edun highlighted the importance of government-private sector partnerships in achieving economic transformation. Meanwhile, the federal government reassured local refineries that they would continue to benefit from the naira-for-crude oil swap deal, a policy aimed at boosting domestic refining capacity.
