President Tinubu Warns Poor Economic Planning Threatens Nigeria’s Future
President Bola Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the 2025 Taraba State International Investment Summit in Jalingo, warned that poor economic planning threatens Nigeria’s rapidly growing population and called for urgent diversification of the economy as he highlighted Taraba’s untapped agricultural and mineral potential as key to securing the nation’s future and praised Governor Agbu Kefas for his investor-driven vision. Furthermore, he also stressed the need for peace among ethnic groups and reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to supporting local investment while echoing the importance of boosting domestic investment to drive national development.
