President Tinubu Flags Off N170.7 Billion Second Niger Bridge Access Road Project
President Bola Tinubu has commenced the construction of the 2B access road to the Second Niger Bridge in Onitsha, Anambra State, awarding the N170.7 billion contract to CGC Construction Company with a 30-month completion timeline. Represented by Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo at the groundbreaking ceremony, with Minister of Works Engr. Dave Umahi also in attendance, the project aims to enhance regional connectivity in the Southeast as Minister Umahi praised Soludo’s efforts in infrastructure while highlighting other ongoing federal road projects in Anambra, including the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway. Furthermore, He assured that payments would be tied to work progress, with 30 percent already disbursed, urging local communities to support the project.
