President Tinubu Assures Ghana’s President Mahama of Nigeria’s Unwavering Support
President Bola Tinubu has pledged Nigeria’s full support to Ghana’s newly inaugurated President John Mahama, emphasizing the importance of driving change and fostering economic prosperity for the people of Ghana.
Speaking during Mahama’s inauguration in Accra, Tinubu, who is also the chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, highlighted the shared responsibility of African nations to build strong economies as he stressed that critics often overlook the progress made by African countries, particularly Nigeria, and underscored the need for African nations to lift themselves out of poverty and build resilient economies.
Meanwhile, he also expressed his deep admiration for the significance of the occasion, calling it a moment of pride not just for Ghana but for the entire African continent. He reminded all Africans of the potential they possess, and emphasized the importance of working together despite differences, advocating for peaceful dialogue and unity to overcome external pressures and internal divisions.
