President Tinubu Arrives in Lagos to Celebrate Christmas and New Year Holidays
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The President touched down at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport on Wednesday, where he was warmly received by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and members of the state executive council.
Before traveling to Lagos, President Tinubu had presented the 2025 federal budget to a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja. The proposed budget, amounting to ₦47.9 trillion, highlights the administration’s fiscal priorities for the coming year.
This marks the President’s return to his home state for the festive season, an occasion that has drawn attention to both his personal connection with Lagos and the broader implications of his recent budget presentation.
