Presidency Dismisses Atiku’s Criticism, Blames Personal Grudge

May 30, 2025

The Presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga has dismissed recent criticisms by former Vice President and PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, accusing him of being driven by personal animosity rather than objective analysis while countering that the administration has made significant progress in stabilizing finances, fighting corruption, and investing in infrastructure and social welfare.

He further acknowledged the hardship caused by reforms but emphasized that steps like wage increases and student loans have been introduced to ease the burden as he urged Atiku to offer constructive solutions instead of partisan criticism.
