Pastor Adeboye Appoints Professor Toyin Ogundipe as New Chairman of Redeemer’s University
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has appointed Professor Toyin Ogundipe as the new Chairman and Pro Chancellor of Redeemer’s University in Ede, Osun State.
The announcement regarding the new appointment was made through a statement by the Public Relations Officer of Redeemer’s University, Adetunji Adeleye, on Monday in Osogbo.This statement highlighted the importance of the Governing Council in guiding the institution’s future.
Professor Ogundipe succeeds Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi, who previously held the position and is the Assistant General Overseer responsible for Training and Education within the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
This transition marks a significant change in leadership at the university, which is known for its commitment to academic excellence and moral values.
The reconstituted Governing Council also includes several notable members, such as Professor Shadrach Olufemi Akindele as Vice-Chancellor and Professor Ahmed Parker Yerima as Deputy Vice-Chancellor. Other representatives come from various sectors, including the university senate, RCCG, and the National Universities Commission, ensuring a diverse and well-rounded leadership team for Redeemer’s University.
