Oyo Government Sets 24-Month Deadline to Complete Oyo Projects

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has set an 18–24-month deadline for completing ongoing development projects across all 33 local government areas, emphasizing that the remaining years of his administration will focus on finishing existing initiatives rather than launching new ones.
Speaking at the 2025 Mid-Term Leadership Retreat in Ibadan, he introduced the Oyo State Performance Delivery Compact to track progress through specific, measurable goals as he highlighted his achievements in education, health, infrastructure, and the economy while acknowledging areas still lagging, such as agribusiness hubs and revenue targets, stressing the need for inter-ministerial collaboration to ensure a strong finish for his administration.
