Osimhen Yet to Apologize for Social Media Outburst – Finidi

Former Super Eagles head coach Finidi George has revealed that Victor Osimhen has not yet apologized for the social media outburst that publicly disrespected him.
Finidi, who now manages Rivers United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), disclosed that he reached out to Osimhen to address the situation but has not received a response.
“I sent him a message expressing that his approach was not appropriate. It was unnecessary to speak about me in such a manner when it was simply someone relaying information,” Finidi told Nigeria Info FM. “Since then, I haven’t heard from him. I’ve moved on, and I wish everyone well. Only God will judge.”
When asked about the possibility of sanctioning Osimhen, Finidi chose not to comment on whether the player should face any disciplinary action from the Super Eagles. “I don’t know. He is already part of the team, so let him be,” Finidi said. “We cannot crucify him. He made a mistake, and we’ve moved on. Life goes on.”
