The Kwara State Command of the NSCDC has intensified its Safe School Initiative by educating secondary school students in Ilorin on security awareness, the dangers of cultism, and the importance of reporting sexual harassment. Conducted in collaboration with the National Orientation Agency, the campaign covered several schools, with officials urging students to stay vigilant, resist negative peer pressure, and report suspicious activities. Schools visited included United Secondary School, Sheikh Abdulsalam Secondary School, St. Williams Secondary School, and Government Secondary School, Oke Aluko. Principals praised the initiative for enhancing students’ security consciousness, while Commandant Umar J.G. Mohammed reaffirmed the NSCDC’s commitment to ensuring a safe learning environment across the state.
