Nigeria’s First Lady Urges Political Unity to Build a Better Nigeria

June 10, 2025

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged politicians across all parties to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration in building a united and prosperous Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of national unity and inclusive leadership during her visit to Enugu State.

“As leaders, we are responsible for taking care of all Nigerians, political affiliation notwithstanding.

“Nigeria is a beautiful country, and no one should hinder anyone from visiting any part of the country to experience this. We pray our security will improve and Nigeria should get to that place of safety,” She said.

Speaking to traditional rulers while distributing professional kits to midwives under the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), she also called for support in her advocacy against diseases and harmful practices affecting women while highlighting Renewed Hope Initiative’s upcoming projects like “Flow with Confidence” for adolescent girls and environmental clubs for students as Traditional rulers praised the federal-state collaboration.
