Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago Sign Air Service Deal to Boost Trade and Tourism

The Federal Government of Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago have signed a Bilateral Air Service Agreement aimed at strengthening trade, tourism, and air connectivity between both nations. The deal was signed at Piarco International Airport by Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Works and Transport, Rohan Sinanan. The agreement allows designated airlines from both countries to operate passenger and cargo flights, paving the way for direct air links and deeper economic cooperation. It also marks the culmination of talks that began during the Obasanjo administration and underscores President Tinubu’s commitment to advancing regional integration through aviation diplomacy.
