Niger Government Sets Up Committee to Oversee Food System Reforms

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has established a committee to oversee the implementation of food systems transformation pathways in the state. The committee, which was inaugurated during the State Executive Council meeting in Minna, is chaired by the Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Mustapha Ndajiwo, with Aishatu Usman, the Permanent Secretary for Planning, serving as the Secretary. Additionally, the committee also includes representatives from various ministries such as Agriculture, Livestock, Finance, Education, and 4 other other ministries as Governor Bago expressed his full support for the committee’s work and encouraged them to work diligently toward success.
