National Sports Commission Applauds Ogun’s Preparedness for 22nd National Sports Festival

The National Sports Commission has expressed satisfaction with Ogun State’s level of preparedness for the 22nd National Sports Festival, Gateway Games 2024, scheduled for May 16–30, 2025. During a facility inspection led by NSC Director General and Main Organising Committee Chairman, Hon. Bukola Olopade, it was confirmed that athletics events, including throws, will take place at the upgraded MKO Abiola Stadium, which now boasts advanced security systems and world-class surveillance while other venues, including the Abeokuta Golf Course, were also reviewed, with the commission pledging equipment support as the state affirmed its commitment to delivering a world-class event.
