NANS Condemns Harassment of Former Bayero University Students’ Union President
The President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Olushola Oladoja, has condemned the alleged victimization of former Bayero University Students Union President, Comrade Naseer Ibrahim Isah, accusing a senior staff member of the institution of harassment and bias. He described Isah’s exclusion from tests under questionable grounds as a breach of due process and a misuse of academic authority, suggesting it stems from his active role in student politics as he called for an immediate and transparent investigation by the university management and the Academic Staff Union of Universities warning that continued injustice may trigger mass student protests.
