Lagos State Launches Digital Initiative to Eradicate Malaria by 2025

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has launched a digital-driven initiative to eradicate malaria, introducing real-time tracking tools and expanded healthcare access. Emphasizing malaria’s socio-economic impact, he highlighted the need for swift diagnosis and stronger private-sector partnerships. The program promotes awareness, accountability, and collaboration among stakeholders, aiming for malaria eradication in Lagos by 2025. Sanwo-Olu also announced the promotion of Dr. Abiola Idowu to Permanent Secretary of HEFAMAA, reinforcing the commitment to healthcare leadership.
