Lagos Signs MoU with Bank of Industry to Boost SME Financing
The Lagos State Government is set to sign an MoU with the Bank of Industry to launch a new SME financing scheme tagged Lagos State Access to Finance for SMEs through Co-operatives. The initiative, to be unveiled at Adeyemi Bero Hall, Alausa, will provide up to N10 million in low-interest loans to entrepreneurs across key sectors. Commissioner for Commerce, Folashade Ambrose, described the initiative as a game-changer designed to ease access to finance for small and medium-scale businesses. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will launch the programme, alongside top industry stakeholders including the MDs of the bank of Industry.
