Lagos Government Cracks Down on Oshodi Bridge Extortionists
The Lagos State Government has arrested individuals extorting money from pedestrians using the closed Oshodi Bridge. Following concerns over congestion on an alternative bridge, authorities assured commuters of efforts to ease overcrowding. Commissioner for Transportation Oluwaseun Osiyemi confirmed the arrests and warned that further action would be taken against such activities, emphasizing that another pedestrian bridge remains accessible while repairs continue.
