Kwara United’s Coach Tunde Sanni Urges for Improved Performance as NPFL Season Continues
Kwara United’s technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, has called for a significant improvement in his team’s performance as the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) season progresses. Despite showing glimpses of potential, the Harmony Boys are currently in 13th place with 20 points, far below Sanni’s expectations for the club.
Speaking to the media, Sanni expressed his desire to see his team among the league’s top five clubs, stating, “We as a team are trying our best to bring back the glory days to Kwara United. We expected ourselves to be better than this performance. We are coming up and down, but there must be stability—that’s what we are praying for.”
He emphasized the importance of consistency, urging his players to maintain upward momentum. “When we are going up, let us continue to climb up and fight with the top five clubs,” Sanni added.
Looking ahead, Kwara United will face Katsina United in their next league match, with Sanni hopeful that his team’s performance will improve as they aim for a higher position on the league table.
