Kwara United head coach Calls for Improvement After Kwara United’s Match Setback.

The Kwara State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) launched a sensitization campaign in Share, Ifelodun Local Government Area, to tackle open defecation and improve public health. The initiative aims to raise awareness about the dangers of open defecation, its impact on water contamination, disease spread, and socio-economic development, urging community collaboration to achieve an Open defecation-free (ODF) status. RUWASSA officials highlighted the state’s high open defecation rates and stressed the need for coordinated efforts, including forming local sanitation committees and constructing public toilets as similar campaigns have been conducted in Oke Ero, Ilorin West, and Ilorin South to strengthen government-public cooperation for a cleaner Kwara.
