Kwara United Coach Targets Continued Improvement After El-Kanemi Win

February 4, 2025

Kwara United’s head coach, Tunde Sanni, remains focused on driving the team’s continued improvement following their 2-0 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors in a Matchday 22 fixture. The win, secured at home in Ilorin, was a strong showing for the Harmony Boys, with Wasiu Alalade and Junior Aimufua contributing the goals that sealed the result.

Currently sitting in 10th place on the NPFL table with 29 points from 21 games, Sanni is optimistic about the team’s trajectory. He believes that with the addition of more experienced players, the team will strengthen and enhance their overall performance as the season progresses.

Sanni’s confidence is evident as he looks to build on the momentum from this victory and improve the squad’s standing in the league. The presence of seasoned players is expected to help the team tackle future challenges more effectively and develop a winning mindset for the rest of the season.

Looking ahead, Kwara United will face Ikorodu City this weekend in Lagos, and Sanni is determined to continue the team’s momentum. With a renewed sense of purpose, the Harmony Boys are focused on securing more points to climb higher in the league standings.
