Kwara State Fire Service Responds to Fire Outbreak in Ilorin, No Casualties Reported

The Kwara State Fire Service responded swiftly to a fire outbreak yesterday evening at No. 50 Umar Alabata Street, Baba Soja, Akerebiata, Ilorin, where a block of five-room-and-parlour self-contained apartments was involved. Two units were affected before the fire was contained, with a preliminary investigation identifying a power surge as the cause. Furthermore, the Director of the Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John, commiserated with the affected occupants and advised the general public to always observe fire safety precautions to prevent similar incidents.
