Kwara Govt warns against defacing public infrastructure for advertisements

The Kwara State Government has warned against the defacement and degradation of roads and public infrastructure through unauthorized billboards and advertisements, stressing that violators will face strict penalties.
In a statement issued by the Acting General Manager of the Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA), Mr. Toba Adeyeye emphasized the need for compliance with established guidelines, including obtaining necessary approvals before erecting signage as the agency reiterated its commitment to restoring order in the advertising sector, supporting responsible business practices, and maintaining the aesthetic and safety standards of public spaces amid ongoing infrastructure reforms.
