Kwara Governor Extends Best Wishes to Emir of Ilorin on 29th Anniversary of Reign
Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Governor of Kwara State has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the 29th anniversary of his ascension to the throne of Sheikh Alimi.
In a statement released by Rafiu Ajakaye, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq highlighted the significant positive changes that Ilorin has experienced during the Emir’s reign and noted that the city has seen tremendous growth in various sectors, with an increased national profile, rising population, and the development of important landmarks, further enhancing the prestige of the southernmost emirate.
The Governor praised the Emir for his steadfast leadership, emphasizing his support for both the people and the government, as well as his graceful handling of sensitive public matters. He expressed deep gratitude for the Emir’s role in fostering peace and harmony in Ilorin and the broader Kwara State.
