Kwara Government Urges Pilgrims to Uphold State’s Image During Hajj

The Kwara State Government has advised all intending Muslim pilgrims to be worthy ambassadors of the state by focusing on spiritual devotion and good conduct during the 2025 hajj. Speaking at a lecture and prayer session in Ilorin, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Mamman Saba Jibril, stressed that the pilgrimage is not for tourism or social media show. The State Amirul Hajj, Oba Ismail Yahaya Alebiosu, and other officials also urged the 2,150 registered pilgrims to embrace peace, patience, and full participation in preparations, as airlifting is set to begin mid-May.
