The Kwara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality healthcare for all residents, as highlighted during the unveiling of the newly renovated General Hospital in Afon, Asa Local Government Area. Commissioner for Health, Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam, emphasized the administration’s dedication to high-standard healthcare services, urging the local community to utilize and maintain the facility as she noted that the extensive renovation and equipment upgrades aim to improve grassroots healthcare and align with the state’s broader healthcare infrastructure development plan. Additionally, She also called on the Asa Local Government Council to ensure proper maintenance and supervision while encouraging stakeholders to support health insurance enrollment for vulnerable community members.
