Kwara Government Reaffirms Commitment to Child Protection

The Kwara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to child welfare and protection, emphasizing zero tolerance for actions that harm children’s well-being. During the inauguration of the State Technical Working Groups on Alternative Care for Children in Ilorin, the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Afolashade Justina Oluwakemi Opeyemi, underscored the significance of the National Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children in Nigeria and pledged support for the initiative. At the same time, the Director of Child Development, Hajia Idiat Alabi, praised the group’s formation as a crucial step toward ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for every child
