Kwara Government Partners with National Agricultural Land Development Authority on Mega Farm Settlement Initiative
The Kwara State Government has entered into a strategic partnership with the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) under the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Mega Farm Settlement initiative, aimed at boosting agricultural development, food security, and rural transformation. The collaboration, formalized during a meeting in Abuja, will provide farmers with access to land, inputs, and infrastructure, including the development of the Ora Farm Settlement Scheme and revitalization of agricultural zones like Oro-Ago and Agbeyangi. With support from NALDA in the form of fertilizers, mechanization, and inclusive programs for youths and women, the initiative will be rolled out across all senatorial districts, aligning with Kwara’s broader goals of economic diversification and rural upliftment.
