Kwara Government Partners with Corporate Affairs Commission to Boost Student Entrepreneurship

March 6, 2025

The Kwara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to promote entrepreneurship among students. During a meeting with CAC officials, the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Ronke Arinde, emphasized the administration’s dedication to empowering youths for a secure future. She welcomed CAC’s initiative to educate students on business registration, granting them access to loans and grants before graduation. The CAC team lead, Mr. Tunde Adeoti, highlighted benefits such as access to soft loans from commercial banks and the Bank of Industry, as well as international business opportunities, all aimed at reducing unemployment. He encouraged higher institutions to embrace the program and urged students to register their businesses for long-term career success.
