Kwara government Kicks Off Major Upgrade of Tanke Bridge
The Kwara State Government, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has begun the rehabilitation and upgrade of the Tanke Junction – General Tunde Idiagbon bridge.
The project is part of the state’s broader initiative to enhance infrastructure across the region, focusing on improving the safety and accessibility of key transport routes.
The upgrade aims to address the growing demands of traffic and ensure a more efficient flow of vehicles, benefiting both residents and visitors.
Alongside the rehabilitation of the bridge, the state government is also undertaking additional projects to improve the area’s infrastructure. These efforts reflect the state’s commitment to modernizing its infrastructure and creating a more conducive environment for both local and commercial activities.
The General Tunde Idiagbon bridge, once a critical passageway, has been completed and is now ready for commissioning. Governor AbdulRazaq’s administration has made significant strides in infrastructure development over the past five years, including the construction of two new bridges, as well as the rehabilitation and upgrading of several roads across the state.
These projects are designed to ease transportation, boost economic activities, and attract investment into Kwara State.
In addition to improving connectivity, the state government’s infrastructure initiatives are also aimed at promoting economic growth and enhancing the quality of life for residents. With these ongoing efforts, the administration hopes to position Kwara State as an attractive destination for both business and tourism, while providing modern and reliable infrastructure for the people.
