Kwara Government Distributes Free Delivery Kits to Pregnant Women
The Kwara State Government has begun distributing free delivery kits to pregnant women across 193 Primary Health Care facilities. The Executive Secretary of the State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Prof. Nusirat Elelu, said the move reflects Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s commitment to accessible, quality healthcare for women and children. The initiative, supported by the World Bank IMPACT Project, allows a maximum charge of N2,000 for additional expenses. A toll-free line has been launched for complaints and reporting misconduct, as officials emphasize this step will help improve health outcomes and strengthen economic productivity in the State.
