Kwara Government Distributes 25,000 Bags of Rice to Vulnerable Families

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has launched the distribution of 25,000 bags of 10kg rice to indigent families across all 16 LGAs, a donation from the Aliko Dangote Foundation to ease food insecurity. The initiative, part of a nationwide program distributing one million bags of rice, underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in tackling socio-economic challenges. Represented by Deputy Governor Kayode Alabi, AbdulRazaq praised the foundation’s generosity, especially during Ramadan and Lent as the beneficiaries, including people with disabilities, expressed gratitude, acknowledging the relief it brings to vulnerable communities.
