Kwara Government Disburses 2025 Medical Residency Training Fund

The Kwara State Government has once again demonstrated its commitment to healthcare advancement with the prompt disbursement of the 2025 Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF) to 37 resident doctors in the state civil service. The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam, noted that this marks the third consecutive year the government is supporting young doctors through the MRTF, easing the financial strain of their specialist training. Dr. El-Imam commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for prioritizing the health sector and reaffirmed the administration’s resolve to develop human capital in healthcare. She emphasized that the timely disbursement of the fund would enable the resident doctors to concentrate fully on their clinical training while ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services to the people of Kwara State.
