Kwara Government Approves New Road Projects to Boost Trade and Connectivity

The Kwara State Government is prioritizing road network development and efficient transportation to position the state as Nigeria’s top economic hub. Newly appointed Transportation Commissioner, Hon. Lafia Aliyu Kora Sabi, emphasized the link between transportation and economic growth during his inaugural meeting with ministry officials. He highlighted key infrastructure projects, including an innovation hub, a garment factory, and major road constructions, aimed at boosting accessibility, facilitating trade, and enhancing business opportunities. The government has also approved new road projects, such as the Bode-Sadu/Olooru to Baruten route, to improve connectivity to border areas. Ministry officials pledged their full support to achieving these developmental goals.
